However, given its very rocky greedy start and the companies history in gaming, this is just eating at me. I just got it and i'm actually really liking it. i know the initial rant seems i'm dunking on the game hard. I think bringing up concerns like that is still fair even if you otherwise enjoy the game. I got used to the building binds so thats ok, but as a left handed player the hardcoded Space button for Vats crits is hell for my fingers. The hardcoded keybinds are a great example. But its still ok to bring up things that really should have been handled better. I get it, its annoying to see someone bring up problems with a game you love.
Then we wouldn't have as many "It's 2022, my pet peeve should be addressed in every game!"

Hard coded means you can't change them in options, which in 2022 is basically the bare minimum in any video game. those controls are hard coded to certain keyboard keys. when you setup a camp, you have controls to move stuff around. Let me break it down for you, pay attention, this is heavy stuff. da ♥♥♥♥ you complaining about? sounds like another one of these 'skyrim only good coz of mods' complainer if you read it and actually play the game, you would know what i'm talking about. It should take no more than 30 seconds to correct. you still go ahead and have very basic, simple little issues, like control remapping. Especially after the initial greedy failure of a start this game had. Really Bethesda, I expect better from you all. This isn't only shameful and just shows how lazy the company is but pathetic. F up and hard code the controls on the Camp system ? ESPECIALLY, when you got ESO with almost the same idea, concept, style that allows you to remap every single control in the game. Has made some of the best and most memorable games on the market. Originally posted by Peter Panzy:How is it possible, that a game company, that has been around for decades.
